Walking a thin rope

balance, balance

one way freedom 

along this rope

if I fall either way

I am stuck

fucked.

One side-

locked away

a toy to throw away

The other-

I must conform

and obey

But to balance,

is to rebel

to balance, 

is to die

to balance on this rope I walk 

is to fight and lose

about to break
